NEW DATA SET ON LANDSTACK
We are thrilled to announce that Landstack has integrated Sections 15 and 16 of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act (CRoW) into our mapping system and can now be found within the Constraints layer.
What Are CRoW Sections 15 and 16?
The Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 (CRoW) is a landmark piece of legislation in the UK, designed to open up access to the countryside for the public. Specifically:
Section 15: Grants the public the right to access land that is designated as open country, registered common land, or land voluntarily dedicated for public access.
Section 16: Allows landowners to dedicate their land for public access indefinitely, creating more opportunities for people to enjoy the natural beauty of the UK.
